Hall of Flowers May 2022: Here’s What to Expect | Weedmaps

Hall of Flowers Palm Springs is coming up again. It’s a big trade show where hundreds of California brands come together with the state’s buyers to find perfect harmony in business.

If you’re considering going, here’s what you should expect from the event itself, as well as the parties and networking opportunities throughout the evenings.

What is Hall of Flowers?

Hall of Flowers is a licensed, industry-only, highly curated B2B show designed to facilitate commerce between a vast network of premium licensed cannabis brands and retailers. It’s pretty much a big trade show for those brands to bring their best weed to the faces, noses, and lungs of the state’s biggest (and smallest) dispensary buyers.

Flower, dabs, edibles, pre-rolls, tinctures — the whole gamut of products will be showcased. I went to my first one last November, and it was definitely unlike any type of weed event, festival, or fair that I’d attended before. It’s a great networking opportunity for people in the industry, as it puts everyone you’ve only known via email under the same roof in the same city for a few days.

What to expect at Hall of Flowers this May

Hall of Flowers Palm Springs will occur from May 4 – 5, 2022. At the event itself, you can expect weed and people — people selling weed, people buying weed, people smoking weed. There, you can get eighth samples for like $3. It’s pretty wild to witness and participate in because this is California’s best weed. Besides that, the purpose is for brands to secure deals to get into dispensaries so they can sell that weed for its true market value.

After the event ends for the day, there’s usually a plethora of afterparties. Here are some of the events that will happen throughout its opening.

May 4 — Wednesday

Mixer by Dr. Greenthumbs and High Hopes

Time: 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm PDT

Location: Dr. Greenthumbs Cathedral City Dispensary and Lounge

The Dr. Greenthumb’s x High Hopes Mixer will feature strain drops and sampling in the Dr. Greenthumb’s world-class Cathedral City Dispensary & Lounge. Guests can expect to find amazing food and entertainment courtesy of B Real from the legendary hip-hop group Cypress Hill.

The event will host a State of Cannabis panel featured on BReal.TV. Special guests include Shavo Odadjian from System of A Down and his brand 22Red and Clown from Slipknot and his brand Heavy Grass.

In addition to the entertainment and panels, there will be a joint-rolling bar featuring Zlime flower from Cali-X and a dabbing bar hosted by Buddies.

MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU: Star Wars-themed party by Hazy and HERBL

Time: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm PDT

Location: Superbloom Studios

MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU is a Star Wars-themed event for buyers and budtenders. Guests are encouraged to show up in costume or Star Wars apparel. Hosted by Hazy, the events company, and HERBL, the distribution company, it is billed as “the perfect night for budtenders and buyers to come together, reinforce the culture, create a night of fun, and build a sense of community in the industry.”

There will be music, cannabis, games, drinks, burgers, and good times. Sponsors for the event include Jungle Boys, dosist, Friendly Farms, Glass House Farms, and many more.

High on Life by Farechild Events, Canna Management Group, and Hush Canna Brand

Time: 5:00 pm – 1:00 am PDT

Location: The Saguaro Palm Springs Hotel

At the last Hall of Flowers event, Farechild’s Zodiac party was pretty dope. This May, they’re having an event called High On Life. It’s a hotel takeover that will feature live music, art, and a whole lot of good vibes. It’s also a launch party for Liquid Culture Records.

Poolside performances will include artists like Nutritious, Jeremy Sole, and Eric Tucker. There will also be live art from Emily Eizen. This will definitely be the one where everyone closes the night out. Sponsors include Ispire, Floracal Farms, TONIK, Zippo, and many more.
